As an interdisciplinary artist rooted in storytelling, I use photography, printmaking, and mixed media to explore the invisible connections between ancestry, memory, and cultural identity.

I usually start my work with old photographs, bits of memory, or fading techniques and then develop it into creations that prompt one to think about the things we decide to remember, keep, or bring back.

Having been born in Guatemala and brought up among two cultures, this art is the result of reclaiming what the heritage had almost allowed to be lost.
